The Gift From Shadow Ranch

The day of this investigation I received a gift: a gift from the “Other Side.” The Paranormal Housewives normally meet up for dinner before our investigations; we use this time to catch up and boast about our kids, our husbands, complain about work, and so on. Just before dinner, my good friend Jolene pulled me to the side and told me she had a message for me, and that she REALLY needed to talk to me. Of course, if you know Jolene, that means she has been visited from somebody on the Other Side who has something important to say.

Jolene told me there was a woman named Louise who wanted to tell me something. She asked if I knew a Louise, and I told her no; Jolene continued to say that even though the name Louise was unfamiliar to me, she was confident we were somehow related. Jolene said, “She really feels like she is family.” I can remember feeling very interested in what Jolene was trying to convey… She said, “ Louise told me that you have got to let go of your past. It is what it is. Its time for you to move on with your life.” Well, I kinda sat there for a second just looking at Jolene. The look in Jolene’s eyes reflected nothing but sincerity, and I could tell she was waiting for me to respond.

“Wow, that’s great” I said. I remember feeling like I wanted her to say more, to go into more detail maybe. I was very grateful to Jolene for her message, but it was kinda vague, right? So, on the way to dinner I called my mom and asked her if we had a Louise in the family, and she said no, the name didn’t mean anything to her. So, I called my dad and asked him about a possible Louise in the family. He said he wasn’t sure and asked to call me back.

So, we are all at dinner and I get a phone call. It was my dad, and he was very excited. He actually found a cousin Louise, who used to live within two blocks of the restaurant we were dining at. I think at that point, I started waving my hands around to get everyones attention, and then my dad dropped a bombshell: he told me that Louise was actually a trustee for a house in Shadow Ranch Park, the exact location we were going to investigate after dinner. I couldn’t believe my ears!! My heart was pounding so hard.

There is no way my dad could have known that we were investigating Shadow Ranch. I hadn’t talked to him in quite a while . . . come to think of it, that phone call brought us together. Looking back now, it’s safe to say Divine Intervention had everything to do with me reaching out to my dad. Thank you, Jolene. Thank you for sharing your gift. I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, and I’ve decided to let go of the past. It is what it is. Im moving forward.
